Revelation Perth International Film Festival has been championing screen culture in Australia for two decades. Over the years Revelation has also been a wonderful friend of A Night of Horror and Fantastic Planet Film Festivals: with program director Jack Sargeant being at various stages both a programming consultant for ANOH/Fantastic Planet and sitting on the ANOH jury; and Revelation hosting a "Best of" A Night of Horror shorts in 2008, and presenting the Western Australian premiere of the festival's first feature film anthology (produced with Deadhouse Films) A NIGHT OF HORROR: VOLUME 1 in 2016.

The iconic Australian festival needs to raise $20,000 dollars to present the type of line-up which not only reflects Revelation's ongoing commitment to independent film culture, but lets them expand with even bolder initiatives for their 20th anniversary.
From Revelation's Indiegogo page:
"This year is our 20th anniversary and we are attempting our most adventurous film program to date as a way to celebrate the best independent works nationally and internationally. Unfortunately, the current funding we have won't support such a daring program. This is where we need the help of all filmmakers, film lovers and anyone willing to make this year truly great.
We need to raise $20,000 in order to deliver new and unfunded initiatives for the 2017 Rev program. These include:
-a fortnight of free family screenings in cinemas and libraries across Perth and Fremantle
-live music
-architectural projections
-a 16mm micro-cinema and;
-a major multi-artist moving image exhibition collaboration with WA and Victorian artists.
All funds will go to these mostly free community-based projects whether the total is raised or not."
There are plenty of fantastic perks on offer, not to mention the satisfaction of knowing that you're actively helping one of Australia's most important film institutions. So click here to check out Revelation's Indiegogo page and get involved today!
