A Night of Horror 2020, Covid-19 Update. We're still here, just a little later.

Good Evening, Fellow Fiends,

We have entered a period of uncertainty for many in our industry with the rapid spread of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) across the planet. This affects all too many of us, in employment and creative areas. However, the paramount issue is the safety of all concerned, and the support of all measures to keep the spread of the virus (though inevitable) to a manageable and supportable level by our health systems.

The NSW State Government, following an Australian Federal Government leaders meeting, has closed all Cinemas indefinitely.

To this end, we are doing the responsible thing, following the State and Australian Government Guidelines, and postponing A Night Of Horror 2020 until later in the year.

What does this mean for the Festival?

Simply put, do not be concerned, as we are *not* cancelling the 2020 Festival. We have been in conversations with Hoyts Australia and have secured a guaranteed open bracket for the Festival once the Cinemas reopen later in the year.

We will be keeping you all up to date as we stay in contact with you regularly, and rest assured that all submissions which have been selected for competition remain in competition, with the Program to be announced very soon.

We are committed to having all selected films publicly screen in competition when the Cinemas reopen.

We are also committed to supporting all who are involved with the Festival and are using this extra time to add to the content of the 2020 Festival, and surrounding Festival activities.

Keep your eyes peeled... like the undead, we ain't going anywhere.
